Yetkili BIO: I started working in the luxury watch industry in 1986, just a few years ago... I realize now that I was lucky enough to be employed at what was at the time the official Rolex dealer of my town, Casale Monferrato. The six years I spent in that environment proved to be a solid and useful experience, upon which I built all that came after. In 1992 I decided to be an entrepreneur and started the adventure of trading in pre-owned and collector's watches. For the first ten years my business was based in Piazza Rattazzi in Casale Monferrato, and that was a further “training ground” for me. The impact of the internet was still limited, and that specific market was targeted mainly at collectors and watch enthusiasts. It wasn’t until years later that the market started to reach the size it presents today, when pre-owned watches show a higher overall turnover than new ones.
