The model was released in 2006 as a limited edition of 150 individually numbered pieces. The watch features an ultra-slim solid platinum case + crown and matching solid platinum dial with a frosted micro-grain appearance, while white gold hour markers and hands adorn it. With all its precious metal, in-hand the watch is substantial and much heavier than its sizing would intuitively suggest. It'll neatly slip under a shirt cuff, but you'll still feel its presence. Powering the watch is the Vacheron Constantin Calibre 1400. The movement is stamped with the Hallmark of Geneva, awarded independently to movements made, assembled and finished within Geneva to an exceptionally high standard. At only 2.6mm thick, the movement itself is both an exceptional engineering and artistic achievement. Accessories The watch comes as a complete set with box and papers. It also comes with a Vacheron Constantin archive extract which was ordered separately for the watch. Condition The watch is in superb condition, with only very faint signs of wear on the case and clasp visible on close inspection. The watch has been fitted with a brand-new black alligator leather Vacheron Constantin strap, bought at a cost of AUD $730 (invoice provided with the watch).
