Authorized BIO: GRANGE IMMOBILIER A PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANY INSCRIBED IN GENEVAN HISTORY In 1869, in a time when the lightbulb had yet to be invented, François-Louis Grange decided not to follow in his father’s footsteps as a grocer and partnered with Louis Carey to set up the Carey & Grange property management company on place du Molard. He would cycle from door to door, collecting rent from his tenants, recorded his accounts by sheer will and drafted lease agreements by the quill. This period marked the first property management companies in Geneva. Our city was surrounded by its fortifications and could only expand upwards. Apartment buildings replaced houses, encouraging owners to seek help in order to manage a larger number of units. This was the start of our adventure.
